Aloe contains a variety of adjusting effective constituents of the human body’s physiological function,which has a wide range of biological activity and is an important study on the value of Liliaceae perennial herb.This paper studied the conditions for extraction and purification of anthraquinones from aloe leaves,and the hypolipidemic effects,as well as mechanism for systems research.This study was conducted to investigate the hypolipemic effect of Aloe anthraquinones in vivo experimental.The results showed as follows:(1)The optimum conditions for the extraction of anthraquinones from aloe leaves to be:ultrasonic treatment time of 31.3 min, the ratio of material to solvent of 1:42.9 (g/mL),ethanol concentration of 70.3% and extraction temperature of 82.9℃.Under these conditions, the maximum extraction rate of anthraquinones was up to 5.70%.(2) Optimizing condition of purification of total Anthraquinone in Aloe by H103 macroporous resin.When the concentration was 1.0 mg/mL,the temperature was 20-30 ℃, the pH was about 5 and the flow rate was 1 mL/min, the adsorption conditions were appropriate;when the ethanol concentration was 80% and the flow rate was 1 mL/min,the effect of desorption was satisfactory.The purity of total anthraquinone reached 69.38% after refined three times.(3) In the animal experiment,a/oe anthraquinones could remarkably reduce the levels of serum total cholesterol 1(TC),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), arteriosclerosis index (AI)(P<0.01)and notably improve the levels of serum high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),lipid-lowering effect improved with increasing doses of aloe anthraquinones.However,no significant effect of phytosterol ester on triglyceride (TG) level was observed.
