Occupation education in our country is undergoing profound changes, the Twelfth Five Year Plan pointed out that, the establishment of the system of modern occupation education,vigorously develop the occupation education, to run the secondary occupation education is to promote employment, improve people’s livelihood, an important guarantee for social stability and promoting economic growth. "Turner training" is a required course in secondary occupation school of mechanical engineering, in the training process, how to cultivate students’ occupation quality, it is an urgent problem to be solved. Through literature research,task driven teaching method in the teaching of computer language and applied widely, is a mature method of teaching. But in the application of mechanical specialty teaching is not very common, especially in the field of lathe work practice.In this paper, according to the characteristics of lathe training, applied research with the action research method to carry out the task driven teaching method in vocational training in the practical teaching work, research in this model, the impact to the formation of students’ professional quality, enrich the teaching methods of the lathe training.This paper first to the domestic and foreign related research of task driven teaching method of literature research, summarizes the research status of task driven teaching method;learning theory constructivism, learning motivation theory, multiple intelligence theory under the guidance of professional vocational and technical schools in Yunan County 2014 die class students as the research object, through the action research third, using the research methods of questionnaire, interview and so on, the application of task driven teaching method in the training of the work, inspection and improvement. Finally, to sum up the experience, draw the conclusion, and puts forward the direction of further study.Research shows that:(1)driven teaching method is feasible in the sewing training tasks,and can effectively improve the students’ occupation skill.( 2) To improve students’ interest in mechanical industry, so as to enhance the consciousness and initiative of students participating in the training work.(3)task put forward to meet the students’ cognitive level, step by step, can receive the good effect.(4)Have the ability to learn, for students’ ability and social ability.(5)To cultivate the students’ consciousness of team cooperation, make students learn to communicate with people.To sum up, the task driven teaching method in the application of sewing training, can effectively improve the students’ occupation quality.
