With the development and popularization of automation technology in manufacturing industry, the manipulator gradually replaced manual labor to become the trend of modern production. At present, the automatic equipment for the processing of bra lining is not yet appeared. Based on the characteristics of the process and technology of bra lining, the paper aims to design an automatic equipment, which can replace the heavy labor, reduce the production cost and improve the benefit of enterprises.This paper first finish overall design scheme of sponge cushion molding automation equipment, such as function realization scheme, layout scheme, driving design scheme, control scheme. Mechanical structure of the sponge cushion molding automation equipment is designed by Top-down, the first divide the sponge cushion molding automation equipment into manipulator arm assembly, manipulator base assembly and automatic feeding assembly, and then we detail designed such components and modules, finally completed the three-dimensional modeling and 2D parts processing drawing work, and then finished the selection of motor and screw nut static simulation analysis of key parts by using Ansys software, the results of which is helpful for structure optimization design of key parts, so as to achieve reasonable stress distribution. In order to test the performance of the device, this paper takes the theory of kinematics and dynamics of the manipulator as the analysis object, and then simulates the simulation platform with the ADAMS software.The control system design of sponge molding automation equipment is carried out in two aspects: the hardware design and the software design. The hardware part of the control system includes the design of pneumatic circuit design, the motor driver connection scheme and the control board circuit design. The last part of this paper is to summarize and analyze the problems encountered during the design and debugging of the automatic equipment for the sponge molding automation equipment.
