Since the 1990’s, China began to build chemical industrial zones, though chemical industrial zones made great contribution to the development of economy, at the same time there were many problems, one of these was frequent accidents. Major accident occured in the chemical industrial zone, tended to cause a domino effect, and caused more serious accidents, causing heavy casualties and economic losses. In order to control major accidents and domino effects in chemical industrial zones, classification management of major hazard in Chemical Industry zones, is ideal for the management. At present, the domestic major hazards classification research did not consider the domino effects, therefore, this paper will research the classification criterion of major hazard based on domino effects.In this paper, the accident consequence simulation evaluation method are performed to evaluate major hazards, gets shock wave overpressure and heat radiation. Comparing with their threshold value, ascertain if there will be a domino effect, the probability and correction coefficient. Through parameter coupling method, the calculation model of the major hazards classification in the provisions of the state on the basis of optimization, get the new computing model. Based on sensitivity analysis, an application example for major hazards classification result affect the sensitivity of the biggest factors, thus corresponding accident prevention and control strategy are put forward.Through the study of this paper, build classification criterion of major hazard based on domino effects, and classification steps and process. Through the application of sensitivity analysis, find out the highest sensitivity factors for the effect on classification of dangerous chemicals of critical mass, followed by alpha, dangerous chemicals, online content, beta, etc., with its adjacent factory distance have no obvious impact on R ’value. On the basis of sensitivity analysis, reconstructed the major accident prevention and control system, the classification management and emergency rescue system is divided into the government level and enterprise level, and thinning. In addition, also relatively specific major accident prevention and control countermeasures are put forward.
