The recent research studies in detail the development process of automatic control system of enteric capsule shell production line. It is based on achievements transformation projects of patent of enteric capsule of an University of China. To achieve the fully automated production and management of enteric capsule shell, a new automatic control system based on web, PLC and HMI was developed, after understanding the process of enteric capsule shell production and the knowledge of servo control system. Detailed research contents are as follows:Aiming at the characteristics of multi movement process, high control precision and fast response speed in the production process for intestinal soluble capsule shell, a multiaxial servo motion control system based on CAN bus was studied. The system used Delta AHCPU500-EN PLC as the controller, configured with CAN bus communication module, then the data exchange and network control between the controller and ASDA-A2 series servo drives was realized, the movement control and accurate positioning control for 38 servo motors in the production line were achieved. Human Machine Interface(HMI) was designed for real-time monitoring of production process and flexible setting of production parameters. An online speed and trajectory settings and other functions has been achieved, satisfied the control requirements of different raw materials for the capsule shell production. Especially, production operations are further streamlined after using the double HMIs.The relationship between the main motor and the capacity of production line was researched. The results show that, in a certain range, the faster speed of the main motor, the higher of capacity the production line. However, the operation timing of other agencies can’t be adjusted according to the speed of the main motor. To simplify the control step, A way that using an encoder connected to the main motor via a decelerator was proposed, using the encoder output value of the angle to solve this problem that the operation timing of other agencies can’t be adjusted according to the speed of the main motor. The results show that this method not only solves problems of cooperation between the main motor and the other institutions, but also for fault tolerance, alarm as well as protection devices provides a new approach.Study on the viscosity control of glue. It is difficult to achieve high-precision control viscosity of glue just use experience to determine the state of the solenoid valve. Fuzzy control theory has been used in this article to solve this problem, the deviation value of viscosity as a decision variable, calling for different segments PLC program to control the water valve off in different frequency and open using a long intermittent control method. This method of autom atic control and experienced workers combined, improve the control precision glue viscosity. At the same time, the parameters stored in the PLC register to value through the touch screen can be flexibly adjusted to accommodate different viscosity glue feed control requirements.
