Analysis Of Shaanxi Province Transportation Carbon Emissions Factors And Reduction Path

In the deterioration of ecological environment and the energy crisis in the background, global warming has become the highlight of the top ten world’s environmental problems. According to IPCC studies have shown that increasing CO₂ and other greenhouse gas emissions, making it the main factors of global warming. Transport infrastructure industries as national economic development, is one of China’s energy consumption and carbon emissions are high industry, so the study of carbon emissions from transport is extremely urgent. Shaanxi Province as the first low-carbon pilot provinces and cities, by studying a higher carbon emissions transportation of carbon emissions in Shaanxi Province has great significance.In this paper, transport carbon emissions of Shaanxi Province from 2004 to 2014 as the main object of study, focusing on the factors that influence carbon emissions were analyzed. First paper, the research background transport carbon emissions, meaning and abroad. Secondly, the application of a top-down approach to transport carbon emissions in Shaanxi Province were estimated and analyzed. Again, each application LMDI method and path analysis of impact of transport emissions in Shaanxi Province factors empirical analysis. By LMDI Methods drivers Shaanxi Provincial Transport emissions broken down into energy structure, industrial structure, economic effects, population size and other factors, the study on carbon emissions contribution of size; energy intensity Application Path Analysis Study of transportation economic development, the level of technological development, industrial structure, urbanization and other seven factors of direct and indirect impact on carbon emissions from transport in Shaanxi Province and concluded. Finally, we put forward concrete proposals to reduce the Shaanxi Provincial Transport carbon emissions. The results show: economic development, a large role in boosting the industrial structure of carbon emissions; energy structure effect on carbon emissions greater inhibition; value added transportation, economic development, infrastructure construction directly affects on carbon emissions has a significant pull effect, the level of technological development and the urbanization rate showed inhibition. Based on empirical research, are specific proposals from the technical, policy and management perspective of carbon emissions in Shaanxi Province transportation.
