Study On The Relationship Between Manufacturing Industrial Cluster And Environmental Pollution In Different Region

By virtue of scale effect, diffusion effect and correlation effect, manufacturing industrial agglomeration has developed rapidly and achieved obviously in eastern coastal areas. But after years of rapid growth, the advantage gradually weakened, which is limited by labor costs and the cost of pollution control. Under this background, the problem of industrial pollution has become increasingly prominent. Currently, the economic development in China shows the phase characteristics of “three superposition”, which include the shift of economic growth, the adjustment of structure and the digestion of pre-stimulus policies. So it is important to treat the relationship of environmental protection and economic development correctly. So can this model realize the coordinated development of economy and environment of manufacturing industry agglomeration to a win-win result? Can agglomeration relieve industrial pollution?This paper tries to study the relationship between manufacturing agglomeration and industrial pollution from the perspective of theoretical and empirical, so as to provide the policy reference of promoting the manufacturing industry by agglomeration. Based on the regional perspective, this paper discusses the relation of manufacturing industry agglomeration and industrial pollution. First of all, on the basic of related theories and literature about the relation between industrial agglomeration and industrial pollution, this paper finds that N relationship between manufacturing industry agglomeration and industrial pollution.Then, the paper analyses the current situation about manufacturing industry agglomeration and industrial pollution. Intuitively, manufacturing agglomeration degree is negative correlative with industrial pollution. Is that accurate?To explore the relationship between manufacturing industry agglomeration and industrial pollution, this paper use data to discuss the relationship between the manufacturing industry agglomeration and industrial pollution through econometric model. The empirical results show that in the eastern region, manufacturing agglomeration and the relationship between the industrial pollution has a "U" relationship, and in the rise of the u-bend area; in central regional, manufacturing agglomeration and the industrial pollution has "N type" relationship; in western region manufacturing agglomeration and industrial pollution has "n-type" relationship, and is in the two turning point rise area. Finally, on the basic of the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, the paper put forward policy recommendations for different regions.
