The structure of weapon equipment is becoming more and more complex, especially in using process, to ensure the safety and reliability, it requires rapid detection on the performance and faults of weapons and equipments in real time. A certain type of roll control testing device is in one large application system combined by the real-time signal acquisition, inspection, controlling, data processing and analysis. The original manual and semi-auto measurement controlling equipment can not meet the test requirements anymore. The virtual measurement and control system using PXI can exactly meet the requirements of the roll control testing device.Due to many different types and large amounts of signals, it also needs to acquisit the signals in real time while transmitting them to the terminal which is200meters apart from the working scene to display and process, so in the selection of hardware implementation, it used the plan combined central processing unit with the remote control terminal. The central processing unit adopted the measurement and control system based on PXI bus, and the front-end of signal processing adopted the SCXI system solutions, and the remote control terminal used the normal microcomputer, that is PXI+SCXI+hardware control links+local computer+a local equipment composed of Ethernet hub, the remote device only uses a host computer which is in good performance and with the Ethernet interface. The whole design did a lot of research on the reliability of design from system principle, PCB, system integration and so on. It also puts forward some anti-interference measures from hardware and software aspects.The completed measurement and control system has eight main funtions, such as automatic testing function before hot test running, calibration function on pressure, thrust, instructions voltage, setting the timing sequence and solenoid valve program of power up, manual control function, real-time displaying the test data and curve of commands voltage, INPOS, ignition signal when electromagnetic valve is in motion, remote real-time exchange information namely communication function, emergency processing power. The device played a big role in practical hot running test experiment.
