The Design Of Construction Project Management Research From The Point Of Owner

In recent years, with the rapid development of the real estate market, as well asthe effectiveness of the country’s economic stimulus policy, a large number ofconstruction projects are in full swing. Design management as the project leader,plays a crucial role in the constructing of project. However, design managementdoesn’t get due attention. Many projects are built when the same time are designed.Compared with abroad, theory research level of design management in China is stillin a relatively primary stage.This paper preliminarily summarizes some basic concepts and theory of designmanagement. Starting from the problem in the process of owner’s design management,this article suggests improving the management from three aspects, establishingPerfect management system, strengthening management by objectives and applyingappropriate management approach. Finally, taking the Mohe project for instance,further illustrates how to do the design management of the owner side.
