The humanization in shared outdoor space in the high school design is animportant factor in environment layout, but so far the design of this aspect hasn’tgained the full value of people, failing in considering both its influence upon peopleand intuitive feelings of people to environment. In fact factors in campus such as theturf-grass, forest, square, carve, the path etc. can easily stir up inspiration of teachersand students.The basic aim of constructing humanized shared outdoor space is to buildconnections and promote the interpersonal exchanges and the communication betweenpeople and environment. Based on the ideas above, this paper, given the factors such aspeople’s mind, behavior and the characteristics of campus space, and by exploring therelationship between space and shared in campus, aims to establish a set ofcomprehensive theoretical system on campus shared space as a referential mode forcampus layout planning in future. It is of great practical value to the improvement ofcampus shared space in China.The framework of this thesis is as follows:Chapter1introduces the important concepts in the subject: The origin ofuniversity, the definition of campus space, and some other related concept definitions.Chapter2focuses on the development of campus shared space in domestic andinternational universities and the existing problems in China. It presents the problemsin humanized design of campus space.Chapter3explains the principles of humanized design such as humanization,opening, diversity, sustainable development and public involvement, etc.Chapter4studies the principle of humanized layout from the components of thecampus shared outdoor space. The campus shared outdoor space includes thehumanized design of the dynamic shared space (road, athletics sport place, businessservice center), the static (front yard space, station gallery, open-air square), thecompound,(campus exit and entrance, center square, courtyard, grass, get close towater platform), and the facilities (rest facilities, illuminate, carve facilities and markinformation designation facilities, spreads to pack, the health facilities and otherfacilities).Chapter5points out the importance of representing the behavioral andpsychological characteristic of human in campus shared space design and how to applyhumanized design to every detail in planning according to human activity, psychologyand the inherent property of campus.
