| The engineering, procurement and construction phase of EPC project can be organic intergration andreasonable cross, because the work of EPC project is arranged by the general contractor to plan as a whole,this can shorten the construction period while also can improve the economical efficiency of the project. Sothe EPC project mode gradually gained recognition in total project contracting market, it has become one ofthe most important ways to organize the implementation of construction project in the developed world, itis also actively promote and rapid development in China. But so many participants and the terms of thecontract is not easy to accurately determine in EPC project are increase the difficulty of EPC contractor forcost control.In view of many problems existing in the cost control of the EPC project general contractor, thisarticle introduced the concept of BIM technology to solve the two aspects problem of the EPC projectgeneral contracting project in the engineering, procurement and construction phase, the loss of informationand the obstacle of reasonable cross, it also makes each participant in the project can communicate andshare project data in real time.This article mainly analyzes the following issues:(1)This article discussed the main content of cost control in EPC project general contracting mode,and analyzed the research present situation of the EPC project general contracting mode in the domesticand foreign.(2)This paper conducted in-depth study of BIM technology, and analyzed the value of BIMtechnology in project cost control.(3)This paper introduced the application of the BIM technology in the cost control of EPC project,and established the EPC project progress measurement model, through the introduction of the earned valuemethod, finally realized the cost dynamic control of EPC project.(4)This paper combined with specific engineering example, and analyzed the related engineering data,discussed the importance of the BIM technology in EPC project cost control. |
