With the development of power electronics technology, microelectronic and computertechnology, sensor technology, rare earth permanent magnet material and the motor theoryof controls, AC servo control technology have made great progress. In the AC servo controlsystem, there are three kinds of executive devices, they respectively are induction motor,brushless DC motors and AC permanent magnet synchronous motor. Inthe servo control system of small and medium power, high precision, high reliability,wide speed range, the permanent magnet synchronous motor has attracted many researchersand developers, its application has been extended gradually to fields such as themanufacturing systems, office automation, CNC machine tools, speed control of elevatorand the other high performances driving. The research object of this paper is permanentsynchronous motor magnet (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, referredto as PMSM).This paper firstly established mathematical model for PMSM in the two-phase rotatingcoordinate, then built up the SPWM-FOC and SVPWM-FOC simulation models for PMSMcontrol system on the basis of the mathematical model of PMSM and the vector controlFOC(field-oriented control,referred to as FOC), using MATLAB/Simulink software andadding the fuzzy self-tuning PI control algorithm. SVPWM, the abbreviation of SpaceVector Pulse Width Modulation, is a kind of optimized PWM control technology. Itcan significantly reduce the output current harmonics, the motor harmonics loss and thetorque ripple, increase voltage utilization. It has been more and more widely used in thecommunication system.At last, this paper completed the design of hardware and software of the PMSM vectorcontrol system with the TMS320F2810DSP chip as the core. The hardware circuit consistinverter circuit, driving circuit, signal conditioning circuit, isolation circuit, keyboard anddisplay circuit. The software circuit consist starting of motor, calculation of speed andposition, realization of SVPWM algorithm and display of LCD. The test resultsverified the feasibility of this subject.The full digital AC permanent magnet synchronous control system, based on the digitalsignal processing technology, taking PMSM as the executive motor, using the highperformance control strategy, will be the trend of the control system development.
