Study On Maintenance Management System For Air Conditioning Equipment Based On RCM

Refrigeration and air conditioning technology is widely used in various fields ofindustry, commerce, health care, etc. and has penetrated into people’s daily life. Withthe increasing of air conditioning species and numbers, more and more factors led toair conditioning fault. The fault not only cause inconvenience to the user, but alsoaffect the equipment manufacturer’s image. In the current competitive market, toimproving equipment reliability and enhancing their competitiveness, the major airconditioning companies begin to focus on air-conditioning equipment maintenanceservices.Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) rational use of maintenance resources，consumes minimal resources to maintain equipment inherent reliability and safety.The theory has been carried out in the exploration of equipment maintenancemanagement, but it is is urgent to fill existing gaps in in the field of air conditioning.In this paper, reliability-centered maintenance is combined with risk analysis theory.According to the characteristics of the air conditioning system and quantitativeanalysis of factors affecting operational reliability, presented suitable RCM methodfor the maintenance. Take a central air-conditioning system of a furniture mall inNanchang City for example, its systems division, criticality analysis, FMEA, andultimately work out properly maintenance management strategy for each equipmentin the central air-conditioning system.In order to improve the efficiency the accuracy of RCM, develop a maintenancemanagement system for air conditioning equipment based on RCM by VC++andAccess. The system collected a lot of air-conditioning equipment fault information asa basis for RCM. RCM can be applied in air-conditioning equipment to choosesuitable maintenance strategies. The system can improve the efficiency of the analysisand guide air conditioning maintenance personnel scientifically.
