As the State Grid Corporation introduce and encourage policies of all kinds ofdistributed generation connecting power grid successively, distributed power supplywill implement a new round of rapid development. However, distributed generationsbring certain threat to the quality and safety of the grid when they connect to powergrid, and this requires that distributed power supply can transfer its runningconditions to monitoring and control center. Some current distributed power supplyuse outdated scheduling mode to communicate with monitoring and control centersuch as reporting and sending instructions by telephone etc.According to the above situations, through the analysis of the demand formonitoring and controlling distributed generation, this paper designs a distributedpower supply monitoring and control substation system, taking GPRS wirelesscommunication technology which can transfer data in real-time and rapidly as thecommunication of information. This system monitor and control the distributedpower supply by installing the line monitoring and control module and GPRS DTU tothe distributed power supply(substation), and transfer telemetering, teleindication andelectrical degree message to monitoring and control center(master station) throughGPRS and the Internet. Monitoring and control center can transfer telecommandmessage to the distributed power supply through this network as well to open or closethe breaker. The main chip of substation system in this paper is DSP TMS320F2812.RS-485interface standard are used between line monitoring and control module andGPRS DTU, and the communication protocol between substation system and masterstation is MODBUS protocol. At present, the distributed power supply monitoringand control substation system designed in this paper has been applied in actual powergrid. Practice has proved that instantaneity and reliability of the system is stronger,reducing the costs greatly and providing the advantageous guarantee for monitoringand control center’s intelligent scheduling to the distributed power supply.
