Transportation plays a critical role in the production and distribution of goods, especially in the cold chain logistics, it need strict control requirement on the temperature, humidity and so on. If the surrounding environment out of control, it may lead to the spoilage of meat, fruit and other vegetables, drug failure, as a result, it lead to a threaten on social public health security and property security. Therefore, it is very important to study the real-time monitoring of cargo information and environment on cargo tracking system, it has great signification for the safety of refrigerated cargo in the cold chain logistics transportation.Firstly, this paper described the status view of cold chain logistics and analyzed the key technology used in this field. On this basis, according to the needs of the refrigerated cargo transportation, based on the RFID and GPS, proposed and designed the refrigerated cargo tracking systems on board and the hardware and software of the vehicle mounted terminal are designed in detail. In order to realize the terminal for vehicle information collection, goods identification, refrigerated temperature and humidity acquisition, key technologies used in the design include Global Positioning System technology, temperature and humidity acquisition technology, Radio Frequency Identification technology and General Packet Radio Service technology.Under the guidance of the basic theory, focusing on the hardware and software design of this system based on STM32, give the hardware module interface of GPS module, temperature and humidity sensor module, RFID module and GPRS wireless transmission module, at the same time, the LCD interface was designed, in the end, the hardware design of the vehicle terminal is completed. At the same time, the design of the application software is carried out, it has been realized the GPS information collection and transmission, RFID radio frequency data reading and writing, temperature and humidity information collection and transmission and GPRS wireless network data transmission through the software communication interface.Finally, in order to verify the GPS information collection, temperature and humidity data acquisition, RFID data reading and writing, GPRS module short message transfer function based on the STM32 development board, the software and hardware platform for the experiment. The result shows that the design of the system can realize the basic system design goals.
