| Riveting is an important method of connection between aircraft sheet metal parts at present,which is widely used in aircraft manufacturing. Automatic riveting technology is one of the advancedtechnologies for riveting techniques. It has some absolute advantages such as improving the quality ofriveting, liberating the labor force.This article has realized bracket structure design and simulation technology of automatic rivetingsystem development, based on CAA which is the secondary development of CATIA. The mainresearch contents are as the following:(1) By adopting the finite element software in the beam’s analysis of bracket which is under theinfluence of its own gravity and external loads, the optimized design scheme of the accuracy requestsof bracket is proposed. By comparing some of universal couplings, the modified carden joint cansatisfy the bracket’s motion requirements, which is defined as the structure of the bracket to the5-axisautomatic riveting machine.(2) The bracket automatic positioning algorithm is studied and implemented. The simulationsystem can approach to the automatic positioning of bi-curve aircraft skin riveting. According to theinterference theory, data post-processing and system requirement analysis, the simulation system issplit up by function. The simulation system of five-axis automatic riveting on CATIAV5R18based ontechnology of CAA and C++has been developed. |
