RCC is a kind of dry concrete and widely used in water conservancy. It was found thatthe RCC is also a ideal material in highway construction in recent researches, and RCC willbe the popular in this field soon. Mixing plant is a giant type equipment for mixing. Thereare two important factors with concrete quality which are the grading of aggregates andmixing quality. the grading of aggregate is influenced by metering device and the mixingquality is effected by the mixer. The characters of RCC is unique, it is very different withother ordinary kinds of concrete before it dried. Nowadays, RCC has been still produced bycommon plant with common mixer in our country, this way product makes a lot of problems.It’s necessary to improve plant for kinds of unique concrete.This paper analyses the disadvantages of common mixing plant by studying on thecharacters of RCC, such as speed of production can not meet the construction requirements byusing gravity concrete mixer or intermittent forced mixer, poor accuracy of backwardmetering device, poor Anti-jamming capability of the metering and transport system. Basedon usual mixing plant design, putting forward new ways to design Continuous twin-shaftcompulsory mixer which target on dry concrete such as RCC. Using vibration technology orno-shaft-mixer technology for ideas of improvement of mixer design. Leading into the newconcept of metering and devices. The plant uses one grade mixer-set, improved Continuoustwin-shaft compulsory mixer and weightlessness metering device. Furthermore, this paperalso gives some advices to solve the enclasping shaft problem.The improvement of mixing device is using different kinds of blade and angle and thevibration method, to shorten the mixer-agitator tank. This paper give a series of wide-usedways to solve the problem of enclasping shaft. And, no-shaft design and vibration technologywould put an end to damage of enclasping shaft. Using the weightlessness metering instead oftraditional metering, and improving the construction of metering-transport system making itmore reasonable and anti-interference stronger.
