In the road transportation industry,container self-loading trailers play an important rolein making destinations be closely linked with the port, airport and train station, and areapplied to military logistics, promoting the rapid development of container transport. In orderto ensure the smooth movement of containers and prevent the occurrence of safety accidents,a swing thru should keep synchronization with another while unloading and picking upcontainers off the ground. So the performance of the electro-hydraulic synchronization systemof the swing thru of container self-loading trailers affects directly the working efficiency andsafety.To solve the difficult problem that the two swing thru require synchronization inlifting and luffing movement, based on the analysis of the current status and futuredevelopment of container self-loading trailers, a new control method of hydraulicsynchronous system based on electro-hydraulic proportional technology is brought forward,and the sync control of hydraulic cylinder is realized by directional throttle proportionalvalve.First, the hydraulic system design of the swing thru of Container Self-loading Trailers isaccomplished. The calculation and selection of the main components is achieved, based on thespecific requirement. Secondly, by analyzing and investigating the hydraulic control system,the mathematical model of the main components is established, furthermore, the mathematicalmodels of valve control single cylinder drive system are also constructed, and the mainparameter of system are determinated. Finally, the simulation model of the hydraulic system isestablished by AMESim software. Through the AMESim analysis, the PID control method iscompared with the control method without the PID controller. The simulation results showthat by the PID control method, the synchronous displacement error is reduced, thesynchronous effects is improved effectively, and the requirement of design is satisfied well.
