With the high-speed development of modern life and the progress of science andtechnology, whatever housing, working and shopping, people’s life are almost closely linkedwith elevator. The holding number of the lift is increasing year by year, the frequency ofusing the elevator is also higher and higher, and which make people paying attention to theelevator safety problems. In order to improve the operation reliability of the elevator, a kindof elevator regulatory system terminals which can collect information of running lift and faultinformation is put forward.Elevator safety remote supervision system terminal is a new generation of elevatorregulatory system terminals. Compared with other regulatory system terminal, the terminalmainly solves the problems, such as system terminal compatibility, appropriate costs,monitoring scope and installation problems. Using a wide range of signal sampling unitconnecting to elevator controller’s corresponding nodes, the system terminal gathers theelevator operation’ signals, it also has the RFID function which can record the time and actionof maintenance staff’s maintenance or rescue. These messages transfer to the server by GPRSwireless network. Users can use the computer or mobile phone access the server through theInternet network to achieve the purpose of remote monitoring. The terminal also has the fiveparties’ phones call function based on GSM. When a failure occurs, the passengers in the liftcar can make the call, and the system will automatically send the fault information to a mobilephone of the principal, which solves the real-time of the fault alarm and the blindness oftroubleshooting.After the system development, a series of function and performance are tested, andeach performance index has reached the requirement of design. In experiments, the datatransceiver test of system terminal has a good real-time performance, the RFID card readercan work in a wide range, and of five parties call has a clear voice. The system terminalinstalled successfully in a number of different models’ and brands’ elevators which are in the actual environment, which proved that the system has good compatibility; through thelong-term tests found system terminal performance is stable and reliable, The results showthat the expected scheme is feasible.
