Study On The Method Of Control And Guidance Of Old Viliage In Kaiping

After thousands of years of material and cultural accumulation, ancientvillage has formed a unique architectural culture, whose stable spatial pattern hasbeen making the ancient village presents a scene of prosperity as well as spatialpattern, intimate atmosphere, unified space style, thousands of years ofaccumulated precipitation and development of the traditional culture and customs.Yet with the development of city urbanization in China, the city function and theway of life is the tissue damage of ancient village. To strengthen theconsciousness of city, they pursue the city’s standard of living, blind to reformthe original living environment, the excessive development of ancient villagetourism in pursuit of short-term economic benefits, disorderly constructiondestruction of ancient village the original integral space environment, which leadto a vicious spiral.Through the research of Kaiping ancient villages’ field research,questionnaire survey and the interview content summary, the paper has found thefollowing problems in the process of protection and development: firstly, theprotection of ancient villages is short of corresponding standards, leading tofailure phenomenon; secondly, villages’ protection is short of rules forimplementation. If these problems continue, it will cause the ancient villages’environment gradually fading. Therefore, we study the ancient villages ofKaiping from the village pattern, the style of street space, architecture andlandscape environment, so as to establish control and guidance system for itssustainable development. Firstly, it researches framework of this paper throughthis background selected, theory significance and application value. Secondly, inthe light of the protection and development of ancient villages’ problem, thepaper analyzes the applicability of the method of control and guidance. In thestudy of Chinese and, the paper analyzes the spatial pattern, architecturalentity, street space, and environmental characterization of the facility of ancientvillages, summarizing four characteristics, in conjunction with the previouslymentioned status issues, drawing the content of the specific elements of thecontrol and guidance system established to provide a solid foundation. Thirdly,according to the elements mentioned, the paper presents the effective rescuemeasures for the ancient villages that are in the trouble. Finally, the fourelements summarized are used for the village self-reliance, to promote theimplementation of content.This paper uses the method of control and guidance to express the elementsof ancient village, going deep into analyzing ancient village space, street space and architecture morphology characteristics, establishing of control and guidancesystem of the ancient village, in order to improve the Kaiping ancient villagespace quality and environmental quality, to seeking the road of sustainabledevelopment, to provide a reference value for the protection and development oftraditional ancient village.
