The design of boom system device is the key part of pump design, its technical content is very high.The design of the boom, optimization is the popular practice of using virtual prototyping technology. This paper is a comprehensive Pro/E and the advantage of ADAMS, established a virtual prototype pump truck arm device. Through the realization of the computer has conducted the research to the key technology of pump truck arm device running status,in the condition of parametric design, mechanism optimization.This paper mainly completes the following work:First, using the Pro/E design software to complete the pump truck boom of virtual prototype of3D solid modeling, and complete the virtual assemblyprototype.Second,Using the software interface will establish a prototype3D entity in Pro/Emodeling is introduced into the ADAMS environment. And variousdefinitions and setting, let the virtual prototype with real physical prototypestate, to facilitate the simulation, analysis.Third,The cylinder piston STEP arm bracket device driver functions, so that thecylinder movement is in conformity with the law of motion in reality; on thehinge point derricking cylinder is established for measurement, simulation,get the luffing cylinder under different conditions of force curve. Analysis of simulation data comparison, the cylinder, the most dangerous working conditions the maximum stress of the third cylinder relevant data.Fourth, According to the simulation results, the coordinate point of the third cylinder’s force changes of parameter settings, set up the optimization design target-to reduce the cylinder maximum force; design of operation on the hinge point coordinates using the software, the sensitivity analysis to obtain thecoordinate parameters were cylinder stress is more serious the. By means of DOE optimization of coordinate parameters, effectively reduces thecylinder maximum force, to obtain the optimized effect.The aims of this article to do some experiment and exploration the Chinese truck-mounted Concrete pump of virtual prototype technology, so there are imperfections. Study on theory method at the same time, focus on, such as to be applied to actual production needs further experimental and analytical studies. In a word, the research on virtual prototype of the pump truck arm, is to try to advanced design, analysis, simulation technology is applied in the pump truck arm frame design, provides a powerful tool and method for high performance pump truck arm frame design, economic, reliable, stable.
