With the continuous development of city construction and the continuous improvement of living level, riding becomes the main way of trip. As an important part of city traffic, the taxi has been developed as an essential traffic tool of trip. Brings in a lot of convenience to people’s daily life, but also taxi reflects the image of a city. For the sustainable development of our city, it has the important significance to develop a intelligent high-level. in-taxi elctrical system.This research is based on the ARM9platform, the management core and peripheral powerful embedded Linux operating system functions, embedded TQ2440development board of the company on the set of simulation, GPS taxi positioning in the day and wireless communication multifunctional integrated vehicle system.The paper introduces the development status of the taxi system, introduces the key technology used in the system:DC motor with encoder principle, GPS positioning,wireless communication, GPRS serial communication technology and embedded technology. Firstly, the ARM9microprocessor and Linux operating system are introduced, followed by analysis of the use of DC motorand encoder simulation taxi valuation principle, GPS positioning principle, features of the GPRS network structure and communication protocol and serial communication in information transfer application. According to the design requirements of the taxi system, aiming at the hardware parameters of the TQ2440development board, made of soft, hardware design. Details of the Linux embedded operating system customization and transplantation, valuation function by measuring DC motor speed encoder simulation principle, mileage GPS location algorithm and the process of design, GPRS wireless the communication and the realization of each function module of software development. Finally development process of the system design are summarized, and the development of Linux based on embedded system is discussed.In this paper, a hardware platform of in-taxi electrical system is established based on TQ2440development board, GPS module, DC motor, OMRON encoder. A pricing program has been developed, and the pricing and positioning function has been achieved. The constructed system has the advantages of low cost, low power consumption, high flexibility, good reliability, easy development and extensity.
