In all of systems of the city rail transportation,the BAS of subway can c-ollect the status datas of environment and equipment intime,and dispose,reveal, remote transoprt,motor them,plays the role of escort for the city track traffic s-afety running.The traditional BAS of subway is mainly used the industrial PLC as the control system, with the modules of the Ethernet communication and ot-her equipments for communication.Because of the equipment in the subway sta-tion uneven distribution,kinds of species,quantity of some kinds equipments,dist-ance,caused some difficulties of wiring level,high operating cost,realtime not in-time,and so on,and the cost of the motor system is very high.Therefore,it is n-ecessary that using the concept of embedded to explore the new low cost tech-nology of BAS.In this paper,combining with the advantages of ARM microprocessor to re-ach the requirement of the monitoring of environment and equipment in the s-ubway station of the city track traffic,and get the aim of achieve BAS running in the ARM development board,research the design of graphical user interface, communication module and so on.Finally,successfully develop a BAS system b-ased on the ARM and Linux operating system.and realize the environment and equipment’s realtime data of collecting,displaying and transmitting functions in the subway station.The system hardware is mainly based on the the core of the embedded T-Q2440ARM9development board technology to design, the development boar-d includes the Samsung ARM920T S3C2440AL microprocessor chip, with pow-er, clocks, memory and other peripheral interface circuit. Through the way of Ethernet communication transmitting the realtime data of environment and eq-uipment to the development board, and display, in order to achieve the aim of monitoring.The software part of the system is an embedded application program was developed by Qtcreater in the Linux operating system, the main function is the timing of data collection, data storage. It can vividly display the realtime status of the monitored of environment and equipment in subway station.In this paper, according to the general development process of embedded s ystem, the development of the whole system is discussed in full detail.Mainly describes the development of Qt applications based on the Linux operating sys-tem, including bootloader transplantation, the driver application develop, kernel cutting and transplantation, the graphical interface program editing. After runni-ng and debugging, the system in this paper is stable and reliable, scalable, ac-hieve the expected functional requirements.
