The frame is the key assembly bearing loads of an automobile,bearing the weight of thevarious load of vehicles indirectly,Its strength directly influences vehicles’ performance.So bythe finite element method to the simulation analysis of the frame,optimizing the performanceof the frame structure,to improve the performance of the vehicle has the extremely vitalsignificance.In this article, the3-d geometry model of the HKC230heavy mining dump vehicle’sframe was constructed with SolidWorks software,the strengths of the frame were analyzedbase on Adams software and Hypermesh software, studying and analysis of the frame,comingup with suggestions for the design of the frame,improvements in the late and topologyoptimization.The main content of article:Use Adams software for modeling the heavy dump truck, the simulation analysis ofstress state of each part of the frame of several complex road conditions, and get thesimulation data, preparing for the finite element structural analysis later.The stress of HKC230heavy dump vehicle’s frame under all kinds of typical operatingconditions were analyzed and obtained.According to stress analysis results,analysis of frameproperties.The primary ten natural frequencies and corresponding modal shapes of the frame arecalculated using modal analysis,and corresponding conclusions are obtained.The topology optimization for the frame of heavy dump truck, got some specialconditions of topology optimization of frame structure analysis, according to the result oftopology optimization, the HKC230frame to the structural design, and carries on the contrastanalysis of the corresponding conclusions and the original frame model.
