In recent years, with the increasing tension of oil resources and the increasingserious of environmental pollution problems, as clean、environmentally friendly、efficient electric vehicle have gradually been focusing on the development and wideapplication by many countries, while as the basic facilities of electric vehicle,theelectric vehicle charging stations have get a lot of construction. Electric vehiclecharging station’s energy efficiency to some extent reflects energy conservationcapacity of the electric vehicle industry, therefore, conducting comprehensiveassessment of energy efficiency for electric vehicle charging station has greatimportance for achieving energy conservation and improving energy efficiency.Firstly, from the status of the international energy use and environmentalpollution, This article analyzed the current research of demand side energy efficiencyassessment and the development status of electric vehicle charging stations andexplained the necessity of charging stations to implement energy efficiencyassessments, it analyzed the energy efficiency assessment process and the proceduresand principles of establishing energy efficiency assessment indicator system.Secondly, the article proposed charging station energy efficiency assessmentindicator system based on hierarchy analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluationmethod. First, according to the procedures and principles of establishing energyefficiency assessment indicator system, through expert advice and field researchmethods, both from a technical and management considerations, it established a set ofelectric vehicle charging stations energy efficient assessment indicator system. Thenit studied the comprehensive evaluation method of AHP and fuzzy theory, proposedthe use of AHP to determine the assessment indicators’ weight and the use of fuzzycomprehensive evaluation method to achieve a comprehensive evaluation of thecharging station.thirdly, paper took a charging station in Guangdog as an example to processenergy efficiency assessment. Fitst, it analyzed the structure of the distributionnetwork of charging stations, second, it tested the measuring the amount of indicatorswhich was involved in energy efficiency assessment indicator system and combinedwith expert survey scoring to achieve energy efficiency assessment of chargingstations based on fuzzy evaluation theory. The results of analysis showed that the assessment methods which was proposed could effectively assess the energyefficiency of electric vehicle charging station under many factors,and it is feasible.Then, through the analysis of assessment results, it proposed to improve theenergy efficiency of the charging station approach. This paper showed that theharmonic content of the charging station was poor according to the result of thecomprehensive assessment, it designed a program of using active power filter toachieve harmonic filtering.Finally, it designed and built a set of energy efficient assessment system ofelectric vehicle charging stations, which could achieve real-time monitoring andenergy efficiency assessment analysis of electric vehicle charging stations.
