While the economy is taking a successively quick development in our country, th e demand on electricity grows. To improve the stability of electricity and make sure high voltage transmission line runs safely and stably, put the quality management in t he most important position of high voltage transmission line project is crunch time pr iority. This paper analyses on factors which have effect on the quality of transmissio n line project, points out three important factors and puts forward solutions separatel y which include:establish a multi-objective optimization mathematical model of net work based on the theory of network planning to deal with the project progress; ado pt"4M1E"management to control the quality of construction; establish the performan ce evaluation index system based on the integrated management theory in order to c ontrol project quality precisely. Furthermore, on a base of analysis on the quality con trol of transmission line project, this paper finds out the common problems and propo ses to the idea of transferring the focus of quality control from the original implemen tation phase to the whole construction process of the project. It takes the preparation stage of construction as priority of priorities in the quality control system and empha sizes that quality objective must be set properly. This paper expounds the importance of scientific methods in project management. It points out that quality management an d knowledge management have begun to merge with each other;quality management is taking a transite from the stage based on information to the stage based on knowle dge.
