The Researh Of Rail Freight Business Process Design Under The Full Logistics Service

In recent years, our railway field has on its way exploring multi-discipline, multi-channel and multi-level market developing. And railway’s market has been changing from sellers’ to buyers’. The transport structure has been focusing gradually on market already. The features of freight flow changed from "fewer varieties, larger volumes, fewer batches and longer term" to "more varieties, smaller volumes, more batches and shorter term", along with the change of business flow. In order to adapt into the change, the railway logistics enterprises actively building the entire logistic system, researching dynamically on product design, constructing the structure of organization, the freight organization and the marketing skill, with the help of information technology and powerful advantage of e-commerce and of the integration development of supply chain.In this paper, on the basis of the theory of EPC event-driven process chain, the rail freight business process is redesigned to make it better-adapted to the full logistics services. Firstly, the concept, the feature, the demand characteristic and the expectation of the full logistics service are analyzed. After diagnosing the existing railway freight processes, it is not suitable for the development of the full logistics. Therefore, under the circumstance, this paper presents features of the of rail freight logistics service under the full logistic service. Then, according to the design principle, the new idea is proposed. The whole business process is divided into three modules and three chains, in which the customer benefit maximization is the guidance, and in which build respectively the EPC model, gather parts into a whole and finally put forward the whole business process of rail freight logistics service under the network of the EPC model.
