Research On The Business Development And Layout Planning Of FT Freight Yard Transformation To Modern Logistics

At present,China's railway network has begun to take shape.The transportation network covers the entire country and has numerous network nodes.As an important node of the railway freight system,the railway freight yard is the starting point and end point of the railway freight production process.It has certain facilities,equipment and transport resources,and has a wide coverage and so on.Therefore,it has become an effective carrier for the development of freight transport across the entire network.In recent years,China's railways have continuously promoted the reform of freight organization and provided opportunities for railway logistics to meet market demand.The transformation of railway freight yards to modern logistics is an important measure for railways to actively respond to the call of the state's modern logistics development and keep pace with the country's efforts to improve the level of the logistics industry.The object of this study,the FT freight yard,is one of the important freight yards of the Beijing Railway Bureau.In recent years,the FT Yard is actively exploring the transformation and development of modern logistics,but there is still a large gap from the modern logistics center.The many problems in the freight yard in terms of transportation concepts,work organization in the freight yard and layout planning of the work function area affect its further development and improvement of the functions of the modern logistics industry.Based on the analysis of the development of railway logistics at home and abroad,this paper proposes a reform proposal for the organization of cargo transportation for FT freight yards using modern logistics concepts.Analyze the traditional operation process of FT cargo yard,and use process reengineering theory to optimize the work flow in the work business that is time-consuming,complicated,and inconvenient for customers.This paper analyzes and evaluates the external and internal environmental forms of FT freight yard transformation to modern logistics,and uses SWOT analysis method to analyze its advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and dangers.Based on this analysis,the relevant countermeasures for freight yard transformation are proposed.Finally,suggestions are made on the layout of functional areas within the FT freight yard.
