| As the heart of the watercraft, the power plant running normally or not is directlyinfluences the navigation security and economics of watercraft. Shipbuilding andshipping development process shows that ships automation is the principal means ofsaving energy, reducing the crew quota and keeping safe in sailing. With thedevelopment of watercraft scale-up, automation and clustering, the requirements formodern ship management become more and more critical. The development ofautomation technology, communication technology, computer technology and networktechnology have broadened vision of modern ships managers and provided reliablesupport for ships power plant operating parameter monitoring.Based on demand analysis, project design, system development and practicalapplication, combined with the LabView, GPRS, JSP and GPS technology, the powerplant for ship has been studied by the Yangtze River channel maintenance in this paper,according to the thought of hardware modular and the method of software engineeringdesigning and improving the monitoring system.According to the target function, content system and monitoring parameters, firstthis paper introduces the system platform construction necessity, and puts forward thesystem overall scheme constituted by ship carried monitoring system, shore-to-shipcommunication system and shore-based monitoring system. Second the core technology,hardware selection and system composition of ship carried monitoring system arediscussed and developed the monitoring system based on the LabView.Again the paper puts forward the structure of the network monitoring system andfunction division, and designs the system’s database detailed, after considering therequirements of the customers and system design principles. Finally tests serverfunctions and programs combined with the key technology and displays the part of thesystem function pages.This system realizes the real-time monitoring of the ship main engine and auxiliaryengine, historical data querying and printing, visiting system for many users in differentplace etc., and has the characteristics of multiple monitoring while one ship motion,data transmission stable and reliable, positioning accurate, switching ship numbers atwill and monitoring data extensible. The experiment indicates that the system meets themanagement needs of the Yangtze River channel ship power plant condition basically, promotes maintenance work for the Yangtze River channel and management level ofautomation and network. |
