With the implementation of "’twelfth five-year’ intelligent electric grid planning of State Grid Corporation of China" gradual, the construction level of intelligent electric grid has been improved rapidly in Jiangsu. For Yangzhou region, the construction of informatization platform of intelligent electric grid, will satisfy the daily management work demands of the residents of electricity information collection, sorting, audit, release and update, and is conducive to promote the new energy utilization, ladder electricity price execution, and interactive services. Under the new situation, the intelligentization of electricity information acquisition system is very important, it is the integral part of the intelligent electric grid construction, is the objective requirement of global grid technology upgrading, is an effective measure to promote the rural and urban electric grid optimization, and also is the positive change and requirement that conforms to the domestic economy and the rapid development of the power industry.In accordance with the "Electricity information acquisition and management system specification and standard" formulated and issued by State Grid Corporation of China, and combining with the characteristics of power consumer in Yangzhou region, the "Electricity information collection and management system" of Yangzhou electric grid is designed and implemented from the whole system, the main system, system function and so on. The research content mainly includes the general situation of Yangzhou electric grid and the status quo of the electricity information acquisition, the overall design of information gathering electric utilization management system of Yangzhou, the implementation of Yangzhou electricity information acquisition management system. The electricity information acquisition management system designed by this research, will be able to improve the timeliness and accuracy of data acquisition of the watt-hour meter significantly, avoid the defect of manual meter reading effectively, and reduce the labor intensity of meter reading work.
