Since the middle of1980s, especially the coming of the microcomputer automation technology, the technology of substation integrated automation in our country has been obtained a great progress. Due to increasing pressure on global resources, environment, power and the deepening of market-oriented, user of electric power reliability and quality requirements of continuous improvement, the thought of smart grid or interactive grid has been paid great attention by every aspect. Obviously, substation integrated automation is an important part to build smart grid or interactive power grid; the intelligent and interactive development direction for power grid will require full digital of substation in information collection, information transmission, information processing and application. Therefore, digital substation has become very popular in the present study for its characteristics of high reliability, scalability and strong interference, etc.This paper first introduces the development of digital substation history research at home and abroad, and then introduces the concept and advantages of digital substation,analyzes the intelligent equipment, network structure, GOOSE technology, according to the new operation110kV Anhua,110kVZhibu,110kV Shangwu power transmission project, the digital substation is introduced in the two device configuration principle and scheme, implementation of interactive digital substation information. Then, combined with the actual operation, it analyzes digital substation on the operation and maintenance of new request. According to the difference of traditional substation and digital substation of one or two equipment application, the maintenance method of digital substation operation are analyzed. Finally, taking110kV Anhua substation reformation for example, the whole cycle cost (LCC) method is used to compare the traditional digital and digital reconstruction schemes of the whole cycle cost. Practical application of the three digital substation project provide a basis for understand the implement of digital substation project more deeply, and has brought a profound influence on the construction of the Shaoxing smart grid, the operation and management of the far-reaching implications.The research achievements in the article, which can provide the technical construction experiences of digital substation in the future effectively, and enhance the level of substation integrated automation, has a higher the promotion application value.
