Research On Communication System Of The Deceive Integrated By Intelligent Terminal And Merging Unit

Today, intelligent terminal and merging unit based on IEC61850 have changed the communication architecture of traditional substation. What's more,the triple play service delivery now has reduced cost of the net,simplificated structure of the net and rised efficiency of data exchange. Futher enhancing the intergration of the substation has become the key point of research.The paper first introduced the main structure of substation and the background of intelligent terminal and merging unit. Then, it expand the operational mechanism of Generic Object Oriented Substation Event(GOOSE)packets and Sampled Value(SV) packets. This paper also rised a implementation of intergation for intelligent terminal and merging unit which can realize the process-layer's communication system with single port in the same net. This communication system uses its encode_decode mechanism based on spare time to make sure whether to make further code or decode. It sets SV encode as the highest priority and GOOSE decode as low-priority, after that system will check the GOOSE encode instructions.In order to verify the practicality of integrated communication system,this paper first uses OPNET to emulate the delay of network environment. And then, based on early achievements that realized GOOSE and SV encode, the paper introduced the software programming for decode part and cooperating system which passed the simulation by MODSIM. We use Wireshark to scratch packets and UNMView to wirte packets and built the hardware circuit to test the software system. All of the above are used to test the real time and reliability.The result of simulation and field test shows that both internet environment's and encode-decode system's delay can full fill the request of IEC61850.In the mean time, hardware of the intergated deceive does not change current circuit structure. The design realizes the communication strategy that the unit uses single port in the same net. This design, whch has high application value, simplifies the communication net, rises the intelligent level of substation, gurantees the data intergrity, facilitates associated running, reduces the cost, saves spaces.
