With the development of the Xingtai intelligent power grid construction, the power communication network develops rapidly, and a complete system which includes transmission network, service network and supporting network has been formed. The size of power communication network becomes lager and lager owning to the advanced technique, and network structure becomes changing during the implementation of infrastructure projects and technical renovation project. However, some security risks or unreliable factors failed to identify and solve. A reliability evaluation system with characteristic of xingtai power grid based on comprehensive analysis the electric power business demand for reliability index is proposed aiming to ensure the stable operation of power grids.The structure and services types of power communication network are analyzed, the requirement of each services are clarified. Based on this,a network lamination reliability evaluation method of Xingtai power communication network is proposed, which determines the reliability factors by the characteristics of power grid management operations. In the paper, factors influencing Xingtai power communication network reliability are firstly analyzed, then a complete index system is builded and the indicator weight coefficient is given by fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (F-AHP). According to optical transmission network is the backbone network of Xingtai power communication network, the reliability factors of Xingtai power protection channel is analyzed, and the reliability evaluation indicator system is established. The reliability of the optical protection channel is evaluated by the model proposed previously in order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the reliability evaluation model.
