With the rapid development of national economy and urbanization construction, urban power load growth rapidly and power load density enhances unceasingly. Combination with Lin Hai city current status of power grid, to meet the Lin Hai city power load demand growth, the need to power grid planning layout during the period of "twelfth five-year". With the rapid ascension of urbanization level, the traditional electric power facilities layout met new problems and challenges. In the power grid planning layout, land resources, construction cost and construction period are facing new problems and challenges. The traditional power grid planning are generally electric power company’s own internal planning, coordinated with urban planning and land use planning so this topic’s goal is for Lin Hai city "twelfth five-year" period on the development of the electric power, combining the status of Lin Hai city grid now, scientifically completes the power load forecasting, carefully planning and design of power grid structure, reasonable arrangement of electric power construction projects, increase the power supply capacity, from the planning level to solve substation location and some problems and difficulties in the construction of line corridor.Distribution network planning is important guidance and basis for the construction of the distribution network. According to the developing demand of state grid corporation, Zhejiang province electric power company also began working deployment, combined with the developing situation of electricity demand, Lin Hai city distribution network planning study. Improve the distribution network planning and construction scheme, further analyzing project optimization planning, to better guide the construction of distribution network, to ensure reliable distribution network power supply, quality improvement is of great importance to the development of distribution network.
