With the development of growth of living standard, the electric power demand is ever increasing. For the electricity load is extremely increasing, the pre-existing power transmission and transformation stations can not meet the requirement. In recent years, The State Grid Corporation of China has raised the investment in transformation and construction of power networks. Nevertheless, all parties of the power transmission and transformation projects will face all kinds of unavoidable risks because of many factors, such as the high investment, the long construction period and other difficulties during the process. Also, there will still exist other unpredictable factors. Probably, all these above will influence the whole project or even cause serious consequences if there is no any prevention. In a word, the summary of each period and the process evaluation should be enhanced after the whole project. In that case, it’s easy to find out the pros and cons in time so that some precious experience can be used in the following projects in the future.Based on one power transmission and transformation project, the writer gave some introduction about the post project evaluation system, and then elaborated on the six parts during the process of evaluation. Taking the220kV project by a State Grid company in Shanxi as an example, the writer did a research on the post project evaluation system as well. In this essay, the writer first gave a brief introduction of the whole project,including the construction scale, necessity and the length of the construction.After some further study, the writer listed some rules needed and also fixed on the criteria, choosing32of them to evaluate the whole process throughanalytic hierarchy process,comparing their pros and cons to get the result. Finally, aiming at some practical problems, the writher worked out plenty of manage countermeasures so as to make sure the project to go smoothly and make the evaluation result work effectively. The thesis contributed some new ideas in the field of the evaluation system in power transmission and transformation project.And it will be set as an example and put into good use in the project,especially for the220kV transmission and transformation project.
