With the continuous improvement of engineering mechanical structure design and manufacturing technologies, the comprehensive performance of supporting used lubricants also need to be constantly upgrading, so as to keep pace with the lubrication of engineering machinery and the development of engineering machinery. Based on this situation, this article analyzes the current research situation and development trend of domestic and foreign engineering machinery lubricants, combine with the engine-hydraulic system-hydraulic transmission-gear system of modern engineering machinery for the specific performance requirements of lubricants and the characteristics of actual working conditions. Meanwhile, in order to simplify the management of oil, adapt the requirements of environmental protection, energy-saving, emission reduction and other aspects. The research must to be proposed to develop a good comprehensive performance universal lubricant that can meet the requirements of engineering mechanical multiple systems.Firstly, this research take into account both comprehensive performance and economic requirements of the developed oil, the composite of poly-alpha-olefin (PAO10) and new polyol ester (NP451) is determined as base oil, and viscosity index improver impacting on the viscosity-temperature characteristics of base oil are studied. At the same time, to meeting the performance requirements of developed oil as the main starting point, having high cost additives are screened through the analysis and comparison of existing types of lubricant additives. Supplemented by the corresponding ratio test, the optimal composite ratio of detergent additive, antioxidant and other lubricant additives are determined according to quadratic polynomial stepwise regression analysis method, combined with MATLAB and Excel. Meanwhile, the susceptibility of compound base oil and additives are investigated. Secondly, on the basis of this study,10formula schemes are designed by uniform experimental design method. According to the testing results of fully formulation and aiming at the optimization of formula exist selection difficulty and other issues. Based on the fuzzy mathematical theory and grey system theory, the combination of entropy method and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is used to determine each evaluation index weight, and the comprehensive evaluation model of formula schemes is constructed according to gray relation projection method, thus schemes C7is selected as the optimal scheme of fully formulation.Finally, the developed oil is tested by the corresponding physicochemical performance testing, test bench simulation and real vehicle testing. The results show that, it has good high temperature detergent and oily-sludge dispersancy, excellent thermal-oxidation stability, shear stability and carrying capacity; outstanding abrasion resistance, anti-rust performance, corrosion resistance and other performances. It can well satisfy the requirements of the engine-hydraulic system-hydraulic transmission-gear system of modern engineering machinery working in complex and changing conditions.
