With the rapid development of economy and technology, energy problem is becomingthe most important problem of our human being. Under the condition of global traditionalenergy crisis, solar energy, as a kind of green reproducible energy, has been developed. Therealready have broad application at many countries and regions where have enough sunlight.But along with the large scale solar power establishment launch into running, there are morerequirements for the monitor system of solar power plants.Now, the monitor technology is inthe progress of development, and the monitor data communication is absolute for eachcompany. To the monitor projects, there are lots problems, such as less communicationmethod, shortness of system management, low technique level, high communication costs.This research is how to use the ZigBee technology nowadays widely used in local areacommunications, to realize the real-time monitoring of solar power systems. In this paper, thevarious sub-user side of the square distributed solar power systems in different regions, andbetween the various regions of the wiring difficult issues, but need a unified monitoring,proposed combining ZigBee-based wireless sensor networks and GPRS technology for solarpower systems of remote monitoring. Describes the realization of solar panels based remotemonitoring system for wireless sensor network ZigBee and GPRS technology, the basicprinciples of the system development process and analysis of the experimental results. Dataacquisition node system for current and voltage data acquisition, running on a variety ofreal-time data of solar panels collect sunlight by the magnitude of the temperature andhumidity sensor and meter, and the collected data is transferred to the sink node via ZigBeewireless sensor networks, then from the sink node to a GPRS device, GPRS data is designedto transmit over the wireless network server, a computer terminal through the software toanalyze the data collected and display processing.Based on the above understanding, the main work of this paper is as follows: The solarpower system studies; study of wireless sensor networks ZigBee, GPRS technology andnetworking technology; system of data acquisition hardware and server-side software designand development; wireless monitoring proposed experimental data analysis system, toillustrate the feasibility ZigBee and GPRS technology in monitoring system of solar panels,while using the system can reduce costs, improve reliability and reduce the maintenance ofstrength, for the monitoring of solar panels to provide a reliable and efficient solutions.
