With the acceleration of social aging and the growing people’s health consciousness, theintensive care for some chronic diseases becomes an important social problem. At the sametime, people have begun to focus on daily physical changes, hoping to find out basic quota assoon as possible, so as to give timely prevention and treatment for some common diseases. Atpresent, more and more institutions focus on the area in human health monitoring. This thesisanalyzes this field from both domestic and international point of view. According to therequirements for low-cost, low power, low rate of family health monitor system, the papercompares several kinds of wireless communication technology which are used in the family,then combines the short-range wireless communication technology ZigBee and the long-rangewireless communication technology GPRS to monitor human health. This system can notonly meet the main requirement of real-time monitoring, but also avoid the costly nursingexpenses.This thesis contains the following parts:1) After finishing the hardware and software design of ZigBeeCC2430and analysis of itsprotocol stack, it successfully formed a ZigBee star network, including a coordinator node andthree terminal nodes, with serial debugging aides being verified, and achieved temperaturedata collection; what’s more, the quality of communication between nodes were tested aswell.2) Upon completion of the MSP430F149microprocessor hardware and software design,it analyzed and processed the data in it, and displayed it by using LCD12864in time,achieving the buzzer alarm in the range of data that is beyond the threshold.3) Having a brief understanding of the principle of GPRS modem, the function to sendand receive text messages has been achieved, with the help of its serial debugging, and thecommunication between the microprocessor modules are also implemented.After finishing the above tasks, the implementation and reliability of the system areverified. In terms of the current situation of this article, the author gives some suggestions toimprove the system, hoping to consummate it in the future studies.
