Since Leon O. Chua put forward the concept of the memristor, the memristor isconsidered as fourth basic circuit elements except resistors, capacitors and inductors.Itdescribes the relationship between the magnetic flux φ and the the amount of charge qin the circuit theory. In the subsequent period of time, the study of the memristordidn’t has much progress until2008when HP laboratory prepared a memristor model,which confirmed the basic theory of Leon O. Chua. Because memristor has nanometersize and memory function, obtained the scholars’ research in the model analysis, thebasis of circuit analysis, electronic components design, integrated circuit and neuralnetwork etc, which will make the memristor has a broader application prospect.This paper analyses the memristor’ characteristics and the working principle,derived basic theory of charge controlled memristor model and magnetron memristormodel. Then use the existing circuit elements designs a theoretical model for chargecontrol memristor.Then has carried on the simulation to the SPICE model, thesimulation results is the same as HP laboratory memristor model characteristiccurve.The memristor model compared to the Hyongsuk Kim proposed,the advantageof the improved memristor is theRo n,Ro ffand equivalent―lon mobility‖can beadjustable.Then this paper studied the charge characteristics and frequency characteristicsof the memristor, use the charge characteristics and frequency characteristics of thememristor described how to read the resistance of the memristor.Based on thecharacteristics, design two kinds of memristor resistance writing circuit, the firstanalog write circuit is based on high speed switching. The second is the use offeedback principle, design the memristor resistance write circuit,the memristorresistance write circuit consists of a memristor, operational amplifier, a voltagefollower, single-phase half wave integration filter circuit and differentialcircuit.Through the high frequency signal and low frequency signal which come fromfeedback to control the memristor resistance. Through SPICE simulation experiment,the circuit is successfully achieved high accuracy write function. The simulationresults verify the correctness of the design.
