Steel structure residence is a new type of structural system, has many advantages, has wide application prospects, but the steel structure residential wall system is little studied, which restricts the development of steel structure residence. In addition, Shanxi is rich in mineral resources, but the utilization rate is low,the ecological problem is severe. So the article research and develop two kinds of new wall materials,they are the industrial waste coal gangue and green gypsum as raw materials, which has certain social benefits.This paper made the following work:1.Comparation and analysis of the existing steel structure residence interior wallsystem, and puts forward the design concept of standard plate system.2.Development of a new coal gangue ceramsite lightweight plate and lightgage steel gypsum board from raw materials, mixture ratio, production process and plate type, and gives the cross-section form, shape, node connection form of interior wall. 3.In ordert to solve the wall cracking problems, the paper put forward relevant proposals on the basis of "the following out of shape and fracture toughness" concept.4. One of the main problems is poor sound insulation performance, which is needed to be solved at present. In the paper, the coal gangue wall board which is divided into double deck is proposed; light steel keel gypsum board which is double deck and two sides has different thickness is proposed; which can provide reference for practical project and improve the sound insulation result among households.5. Through the MIDAS Gen software, the paper analysis the contribution about coal gangue light ceramsite concrete on the lateral load resistance which as shear wall, which has certain reference value for designers.In this paper, through the analysis of the two kinds of new wall system theory, and analyzes its influence as load-bearing shear wall structure of the lateralforce, provides certain reference value for the further promotion of the development of steel structure residence.
