In recent decades, with the continuous development of high-rise buildings, high-risebuilding with high conversion layer increases day by day. However the seismic behavior ofthe structure is relative poor due to the distribution of the vertical components is notcontinuous and the vertical stiffness is not uniform. The structure is easy to produce a weaklayer in the earthquake, especially disadvantageous to seismic. Depended on currentcomputation method, it is difficult to confirm the integral seismic behavior and local transferof force exactly. Based on shaking table test on the high-rise building with high transfer floorand finite element analysis, its seismic behavior is studies deeply.Based on similarity theory, this paper design a1:35micro concrete scale model of acomplex high-rise building with high transfer floor, keeping model similar to prototype in themechanical characteristics. And complete the shaking table test on the structure with highconversion systematically. Three seismic waves are selected to do the shaking table test intwenty-nine operating modes. The acceleration, displacement responses and strain of themodel are measured and the appearance and development of the crack are observed. Throughmode analysis, dynamic characteristics under different intension earthquake is studied.According to dynamic characteristics and responses of the structure in each phase, the seismicbehavior of the structure is analyzed. Based on the shaking table test, finite element analysisis applied to the model structure, and the period, acceleration, displacement and so on under different seismic action are calculated. Compared test results with finite element analysisresults, the accuracy and reliability of each other are verified. Based on comparison, furtherfinite element analysis of the model is done, focuses on the seismic reaction of the floor nearthe transfer floor and the loading of the components.Combined the shaking table test with finite element analysis of Sap2000, this paperevaluate seismic behavior of the high-rise building with high transfer floor comprehensivelyand find out the weak parts of structure. Several conclusions are drawn, which offer scientificbasis to seismic design of the high-rise building, and give certain reference to similar hightransfer structures in seismic design.
