With the improvement of people’s living standard, intelligent lifestyle becomespeople’s focus of attention. Intelligent household system has become an inevitabletrend. Traditional household system exists the shortcomings that it needs rewiring,has a scattered layout, needs manual operation and can’t be automatic controlled.Intelligent household monitoring system based on ARM’s embedded platform isdesigned in this paper.The paper determined the solutions of intelligent household monitoring systemon the basis of analyzing the key technologies such as the embedded technology, thelow voltage power line network technology, and the GPRS wireless technology.S3C2440A is used as the center control unit in this system, and the peripheral circuitof S3C2440A is designed, while the control code is wrote. The data transmission ofthe central control unit and each module and mobile terminals is realized, whichimproves the performance of this system. This paper used the low voltage power linecarrier communication network technology to make a smart household network,thereby removed the annoyances of rewriting. This paper realized the dataacquisition and transmission by designing the hardware circuit of the intelligentlighting module, the intelligent window module and the household security module,and writing the driver and application program of each part. The paper designedalarm circuit of home security, which would start alarm and send warning messagesto the mobile user when the household environment is abnormal, so the system couldensure the safety of the household environment. The address allocation mechanismand the frame command mechanism are analyzed, and the remote monitoring ofhousehold equipment is realized by the development of the interface on the Androidplatform using the general645protocol. Through the GPRS module, the users canuse the mobile terminals such as mobile phone, IPAD or computer to access orcontrol the state of the household equipment. The paper realizes the function of state control and state reporting of the scenelights, smart windows and household security module, and also has the monitoringfunctions of fire prevention, security, gas leakage prevention. The debugging andexperimental results show that the system is stable, reliable, and can meet therequirements of people’s high level life. This system provides a reasonable solutionto the intelligent household monitoring system.
