With the increase of motor vehicle ownership, while the proportion of car ownership continues to increase, vehicle emissions will become increasingly serious pollution problems.How to control automobile emissions is an important work on the damage caused by the atmospheric environment has become relevant government authorities, car manufacturers and related R&D personnel are facing. Therefore, ensure the car engine running in good condition, make warning when a failure occurs in the first time and as soon as the detection and location, so it can be timely repaired, keep working in the automobile emission standards prescribed under the national standard, thereby,reducing vehicle emissions on air pollution has become an important research topic of automobile fault diagnosis and repair.Currently,domestic automotive already have configuration of the second generation vehicle self-diagnostic system (OBD Ⅱ), Its working principle is based on automotive electronic control unit (ECU) for testing the value of each sensor,saving the fault information as situation of fault codes. Under normal circumstances, On Board self-diagnostic system can determine the location and cause of the malfunction occurred when the car fails, and issued a warning to the driver. However, due to the fault code only automotive electronic control units (ECU) identified a "yes" judgment and "no", when the signal deviation is larger or the signal deviation is not larger than the scope of the standard deviation, decreased sensitivity of the sensor, actuator short circuit or open circuit in the case, automotive electronic control unit (ECU) will not be recorded fault code, unable to make a diagnosis of the fault. And by recording real-time vehicle dynamic data, using data stream analysis a comprehensive analysis of instantaneous data and work status of each vehicle sensors and actuators input and output signals, it can accurately identify the location and what caused car trouble, develop a maintenance program as soon as reasonable, reduce unnecessary energy waste and pollution emission vehicles in adverse conditions caused by the operation.This paper, using the X-431LAUNCH automotive fault diagnostic collect Nissan BLUEBIRD L4electronically controlled engine and Hyundai Grandeur V6electronically controlled engine of each transducer’s instantaneous data and each actuators’s real-time status, Application of Matlab in the one-dimensional wavelet analysis function for automotive electronic control engine sensor data streams fitting analysis, for the fuel injection system and electronically controlled engine ignition system failure conducted in-depth analysis, and find out the general rule based on wavelet analysis of the data stream summarize the reasons for such failure, further enhance the accuracy of the automotive electronic control engine fuel injection system and ignition system fault identification and diagnosis of the degree.
