Because the air cooling island design of heat exchange area is small, summerrunning unit back pressure is high, and consumption of coal is large, so in this paper, forthe purpose of saving energy and reducing consumption, is searching to reform air-cooling system of the first phase of the project unit air-cooling system in ShanxiZhangshan Power Generation Co. Ltd..First of all, this paper analyzes the operating status of the company’s existingair-cooling system. In order to solve the problem, what is Because of the defect of2*300MW unit air-cooling system configuration of Zhang Shan, leading to the pooreconomy of generating unit, it has put forward three reconstruction schemes, such as thedirect air-cooling scheme, indirect air-cooling scheme and peak cooling system schemes.After comparative analysis, it proves that peak cooling system is feasible, and designsprinciples and objectives of air-cooling system’s reconstruction.Then, based on related professionals’ repeated studies, and combined with theoperation situation of Shanxi Zhangshan Power Generation Co. Ltd. Unit. This paperdesigns a specific reform plan for peak cooling system. Mainly includes the overallscheme design, heat engine’s transformation, the hydraulic part design, transformation ofchemical water processing, transformation of the electrical part, transformation ofthermal control part and transformation of civil.Finally, based on the consideration of multiple factors, this paper put the No.1unitand2unit of Zhangshan company2*300MW unit as the object of study, to evaluate theoperation economy of peak cooling system. This paper has proved the reconstructionscheme of peak cooling system achieves the goal of saving energy, and greatly ensuresthe safety, economy and efficiency of Unit operation. It has great significance in direct aircooling unit field, and possess very high popularization value in practice.
