Research On Layout Of Railway Logistics Center

Abstract:Logistics center as an important part of the logistics system is to support the logistics network. It is through the operating management of transport, storage, handling, distribution processing and distribution, and other work, to accelerate the circulation of commodities, reduce distribution costs and improve the efficiency of the logistics system, role in safeguarding the quality of service.Being an important node in the Rail transport network system, railway logistics center will play a key role in the reform of China’s traditional modes of freight transport. Firstly, the establishment of railway logistics center will reduce rail freight costs and improved logistics efficiency at the same time; Secondly, the establishment of railway logistics center will help to improve the rail freight services form and the service levels; Finally, the establishment of railway logistics center will accelerate informationization management of rail freight operations and scientific operation of rail freight operations process.This thesis research on the planning and construction of railway logistics center by defineding the concept, types and characteristics of railway logistics center:analyze the affecting factors of logistics needs and forecast the logistics demand for railway logistics center; analyze function settings and set the function area based on the result of logistics demand; analysis the processes of railway logistics centers in different categories of goods in detail; analysis the logistics and non-logistics relationship between every functional area to measure the correlation degree of railway logistics center operating unit by using SLP method; the layout is made on functional areas on the basis of work area corelationship diagram; and make a comprehensive evaluation of layout program.Chapter VI of this paper is an example. This paper selects the actual case of Taiyuan Railway logistics center, analysis the case by utilizing the researched actual data, and using the theory and methods of third to fifth chapter. Finally, through the use of SLP method to find layout plan of the work area, and then evaluate the program. The result of evaluation is well.This thesis analyzes and learns the layout theory and methods of railway logistics center, study on a practical case, the methods and result of layout planning of railway logistics center has a certain reference value for the future.
