Coordinated control system(CCS) is an important part of the automatic controlsystem of thermal power plants. With the increasing strength of the units’capacity and thegrid load regulation performance requirements, the generator set require high-endcoordinated control system, now coordinated control system has become the core ofautomatically controlled system in modern plant.North China power grid company started to carry out “Two rules” assessment inpower plants which are directly dispatched by the provincial level and above powerdispatching institution in may2009. To the units which participate in the “Two rules”assessment, AGC performance has become the decisive factor of enterprise economicbenefits.This paper take the Zhangshan300MW thermal plant as research object, andaccording to the assessment indicators requirement of “Two rules”, we make thoroughresearch to the coordinated control system. According to the performance test of CCS,the control system has the problems of slow load reponse speed and lagging load reponsetime. After analyzing the problem, the boiler master, the pressure curve, the turbinemaster and the coupling relationship between turbine and boiler are optimized. It isshowed tha the optimized control scheme get good results which put into operation in thefield, the load reponse speed and load reponse time of the unit are improved obviously.The indicators for performance check of “Two rules” are improved significantly, and thecompany has achieved economic benefits.
