| What elements impact the usage continuance and the habit formation ofinformation system users? How to utilize these elements in the field of userexperience design? In order to answer these questions, the author studied on theHabit-related theories in the field of Psychology and sorted out the answers. It isworth noting that both goals and context play key roles in helping informationsystem users formatting habits. Before the habit is formed, goals trigger thebehavior. When the behavior continuance goes up, stable context trigger thebehavior, and automaticity is correspondingly generated. It is context-cuedautomaticity makes the habitual behaviors more efficient than in-habitualbehaviors.Interaction designers design the information products by finding what their usersreally need.
