With development of the enterprise informationalization, some advancedmanufacturing modes such as Concurrent Engineering, Collaborative Design andVirtual Enterprise and so on are gradually adopted and applied. The technology ofenterprise information shying with platform-independent property is the basis ofapplying these advanced manufacturing modes. This dissertation mainly pursues theresearch theme on Some Key Technologies Supporting Enterprise ProductInformation Sharing under Web Environment to tackle these problems. Thefollowing achievements have been attained in this dissertation:(1) Information sharing model of product and system framework of EnterpriseProduct Information Sharing SystemAs the limitations in managing enterprise sharing information with the master model ofproduct data created only on the basis of STEP, a modeling scheme based on the ideathat using the master model of product data as the framework and the real modelconstructed by enterprise itself according to its needs is proposed. The role andimportance of enterprise product information sharing system in enterprise informationsystem is analyzed. A three-tier system structure is proposed, which includes client tier,enterprise product information sharing services tier and data tier. The detailed moduledivision to the system is presented. This system structure can meet the enterprise'sneeds for platform-independent product information sharing.(2) Key technology of product three-dimensional model information sharingunder Web environmentA platform-independent 3D product model information sharing scheme based onVRML is proposed, which includes information gathering, organizing and publishing.Two ways to gathering 3D product model information, based respectively on popularCAD systems and STEP file, are studied, which can automatically extract productassembly relations and transform product geometry information into web-enableformat. By comparing and analyzing these two different schemes, their ownsuperiority and applied environment is expounded. The reasonable data organizationway is established for the product three-dimensional model sharing information. Theproduct three-dimensional model information publishing scheme based on thetraditional product structure tree and the visualized product structure tree is proposed,and the part demonstrating to the user in the different two trees can be consistent atany time. The product sharing information integrated publishing is realized by usingdynamic hyper-linking technology.(3) Key technology of structured product data sharing under Web environmentThe technology of structured product data sharing includes structured data gatheringtechnology and structured data publishing technology based on user personalizationcustomization.From enterprise's perspective, the structured data gathering technology acquires product data from heterogeneous database in enterprise dynamically, and organizesthe gathering results according to the pattern which is stipulated by the enterprisetaking XML as the information carrier. A modeling scheme for product informationsharing sub-model referenced on IDEF1X standard is proposed. The enterprise cangenerate its own organization model of sharing information using specializedmodeling tools. The mapping information supported structured data gathering isanalyzed, and the enterprise can define these information using specialized mappingtools. A set of marks to depict the modeling and mapping results based on XML isestablished. An algorithm for automatic structured data gathering is studied andrealized, which can be encapsulated into ATL (ActiveX Template Library) service tocomplete the data gathering task.From the user's perspective, the structure data publishing technology first cuts thestructure data gathering results according to the user's data customization results, andthen publishes the data that has been cut according to the user's display customizationresults based on the Web. The essentiality of user's data customization is analyzed,and the process flow of user's data customization is studied and realized. AnEnterprise Product Information Sharing System Form (EPISSForm) model isproposed to describe the form style information, which realized the structured datapublishing dynamically and platform-independently. For convenience of enterpriseapplication to publishing results, the output and the printing function are provided.(4) Technology ValidationAn Enterprise Product Information Sharing System (EPISS) is developed based on thetechnology proposed in this paper, and feasibility and efficiency for these keytechnologies have been well valided.
