Low temperature double circulation generator is the latest product which cansuccessfully change low grade heat energy into electricity. There will be a greatsignificance for energy saving and environment protection. It will also promote theresearch of China’s new generator, but there is a risk of quality. In order to ensure thequality of the low temperature double circulation generator, some tests of theperformance parameters before delivery is necessary. So the development of platformfor the low temperature double circulation generator is meaningful.This paper sets up a platform for the low temperature double circulationgenerator. The platform is mainly composed of cold and heat source system,monitoring system and detection system. The cold and heat source system providesthe runtime environment for the generator.The monitoring system is mainly used forcollecting data, such as temperature, flow rate and heat volume. The detection systemis mainly used for testing the power consumption parameters.This topic utilizes computer, sensor and testing technology to build a set of highaccuracy, high automation platform.We also design the software for the platform.The monitoring system equipped with AI board, DI, DO card and PCI-485board withthe PC as the core. The temperature data acquisition card, heat meter, multi-functionpower meter constitute the distributed data acquisition and control system based onRS485. The software design selects Visual Basic6.0. Through the serialcommunication MSComm, we could realize real-time acquisition and storage. Wechoose ACCESS as a database for data storage. The software has the characteristics offriendly interface and it is easy to use.After completing the system debug, the platform could realize stable running.There is a good control of temperature, flow rate. Through the analysis for theoperation parameters, we could not only determine whether the generator is qualified,but also find the disadvantages of the unit. And we can give suggestions for furtheroptimization. Therefore, the platform has a great significance for the low temperaturedouble circulation generator.
