In recent years, development is rapid in lianyungang city, jiangsu province. People’s living standards continue to improve, and enterprise scale develope and grow. Power load required is correspondingly increased. With the gradual amplification of grid-scale,and continued development and use of grid automation systems, the power grid scheduling difficulty and workload gradually increased. Analysis and management by professionals through report data and a lot of manual records are not convenient, low reliability and low accuracy. Currently an important way to solve these problems is to accelerate the development and application of information technology in the field of grid, and establish grid information platform. As a core part of the grid information platform, Grid SCADA real-time information system can improve the level of information, with grid real-time data acquisition, processing and publishing functions.Based on the functional characteristics of SCADA information system, this paper describes the main features of the design of SCADA information systems through the analysis of the aspects of the detailed design, overall design and SCADA information systems coding.Then based on the requirements of SCADA information system, the frame system is designed, and divided into several sub-modules. According to the function of each sub-module and the relationship between them, the logical structure of database table required was converted into the database distribution of SCADA information system.Then established the appropriate database tables, and determined the mutual dependencies between them. According to the system requirements, jiangsu grid real-time SCADA data acquisition module was designed,and each sub-module was tested.After SCADA information systems put into social applications, the social and economic benefits is significantly improved, providing a good foundation and technical support for promotion to the electricity network users and other market. It has broad prospects for development in future.
